30.06.13 The Festival of Garden Literature
The first ever festival of writing about gardens took place in Tom and Sue Stuart-Smith’s garden at Serge Hill in Hertfordshire. The Garden Museum organised the inspiring event over two perfectly sunny days - 29th & 30th June.
Guest speakers explored themes including gardens in biography and autobiography, and how Eden and Arcadia continue to haunt our imagination. Renowned garden writers, designers and historians shared their thoughts on these rich and fertile subjects.
