The next phase of planting began in the west courtyard as sixteen olive trees arrived from the nursery located at the base of the Atlas mountains. Everyone on site helped to lift the heavy trees into position.

The olive trees were planted along the outer walls in the west courtyard.

The secondary footpaths have been installed within the areas of planting.

The white lines mark out the grid for planting the citrus trees.

A total of 52 citrus trees planted, comprising a mix of 100+ year old lemon and orange trees.

A rather blurry photo of the team. Keep checking our blog to see how the remaining planting takes shape this spring.
