Kurosh read Horticulture at Bath University. As a student he worked for the landscape architects Brown & Rowe and the Olin Partnership USA. He then completed a degree in music at the Musikhochschule Detmold, Germany and studied at the Royal Academy of Music. After a period as a professional Viola player, Kurosh continued his education at the University of Central England and qualified as a Chartered Landscape Architect. Before joining Tom Stuart-Smith Ltd he worked at Elizabeth Banks Associates for two years.
Kurosh has worked with Tom Stuart-Smith for ten years. He was responsible for the detailed construction design of all projects up to 2006 and is in charge of the technical aspects of all projects.
He is a portrait painter and still performs as a viola player in chamber groups around Europe.
