Jem Hanbury


Jem studied at Curtin University and trained as a designer in his native Australia before moving to the UK. He first worked for Charles Morris in Norfolk before joining Thomas Heatherwick's team in 2004. He was a key designer on a number of their projects, including La Maison Unique in New York and the British Pavilion for the Shanghai World Expo. In 2008 he concentrated on his passion for landscape - designing and building a number of private gardens in Europe and Australia before joining Tom Stuart-Smith Ltd in 2009. He currently runs various projects in the UK, France and USA.
