Hepworth Wakefield Garden

Following a competition, we were appointed by the Hepworth Wakefield to make a new freely open garden, adjacent to the award-winning gallery by Sir David Chipperfield. It was an opportunity to transform an empty grass lot into a vibrant garden, which forms a link between the gallery and the Victorian Rutland Mills buildings, all situated on the banks of the River Calder. The project is an inspiring and bold example of a charitable institution taking control of the public space that surrounds it to make a better environment for all.
